Do I need a DRE license?
Yes. Champions Mortgage originates under our DRE broker license, so you hold a California DRE license with Champions Community, Inc. plus an MLO endorsement through NMLS.
I’m licensed through the DFPI. Can I join?
Yes. Earn your California DRE salesperson license, then we move it to Champions Community, Inc. and sponsor your MLO endorsement. Some of our loan officers joined this way.
Which license numbers will I need?
Champions Community, Inc., DRE #02113020, for your DRE license move, and Champions Mortgage, NMLS #2070312, when you grant access in NMLS.
How is compensation set?
It depends on your business and the plan that fits it. We agree it with you in writing before you sign anything.
How long does NMLS sponsorship take?
About 1 business day at the fastest once your DRE move shows on the public record. It can take longer when the DRE asks for more information.
